The West Island is an HO club in Hicksville, NY. Established in 1947 and having moved in June, 2008 from our former location in Farmingdale, we are now building the new Allegheny & Western Railroad in our 87'x64' space. New members are welcome.

Train Master the Movie
Train Master is an independent feature film shot in Oregon. The Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club was used for a majority of the scenes. It is a wonderful movie for children ages 5-10. It is available May 12, 2009 through Amazon and other retailers.

Prairie State RR Club
Located just west of Aurora, IL, the Prairie State Railroad Club operates more than a half mile of a 7-1/2" gauge track arranged in a point to loop configuration, allowing for a one mile round trip. Steam locomotives, electric interurbans, and diesel-outline locomotives in use. Visiting live steamers and new members welcome. Public rides limited to designated special events, see event calendar on website.
